Here is how dermal filler treatment works:

Local or topical anaesthetic is first administered to the area to prevent discomfort.
The dermal filler is then injected to the desired areas.
The effect of the treatment is visible immediately, however, it can take up to two weeks to see the full effect.
Depending on the area treated, skin type and the injection technique, the filler effect can last between 6 and 18 months (usually six months for lips)
Touch-up treatments are recommended to maintain results over time.
